This week was a battle of close games with two of them going into overtime. Ending the game in double OT, Alex Klupchak and Dante’ Davis are thriving as a duo in this league, each having 28 points (Alex going 45% from the field and Dante’ 52%). Dante’ added 3 assists and 4 rebounds to Alex’s 6 boards as them and LVFT pulled off the win 81-79 against Marquee Tao Hospitality. In our second overtime game it was Culture Kings pulling away from Tutoring Club 62-61. Deosniqe Griffin wanted to win grabbing a double-double with 21 points on 50% from the field and 10 rebounds with 2 assists and Jamel Robinson contributed 14 points (47%) and 7 rebounds. We had a close game between Jan-Pro and Worldwide Flight Services with WFS able to get the dub 53-50. Our player of the week last week, Centrel Landers went off for 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists on 67% shooting. Drai’s is continuing their win streak beating Towne Park 52-50. Lamel Dixon (83%) and Tyson Williams (62%) both put up 17 points and 2 assists each. Lamel pulled in 3 boards while Tyson was cleaning the glass with 10. For the only lopsided game of the week, Apex Expert Services came out on top beating Wynn 91-67. Dre Williams had a efficient performance with 16 points on 47% and 6 rebounds and Brett Meci pitching in 10 points on 50% with 6 boards. This game had one deciding factor and that was our player of the week, Tony Harrison Jr.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DONTRELL BRITE

This week Tony Harrison Jr. showed us why he is HIM. He was having himself a night out there with 53 points (72%), 12 rebounds, and 4 assists and not only does this performance top his other season highs of 40, 41, and 44 points, he has broken the league’s scoring record (previous record). Tony is a name you have to recognize and figure out how to stop him from dominating when you play Apex Expert Services. His high-energy, hustle player mentality is something that is difficult to defend and something that can’t be taught. When you watch him play, he displays night in and night out why he is averaging the most points (36.4) and averaging the most boards per game (13.4) in the league.
